Okay....would you call your OB? I am having a ton of Braxton hicks today and over the weekend (I am almost 21 weeks) I have been drinking a ton of water and trying to sit as much as I can (ha, ha!). I had them from 19 weeks on with Grace and she was born at 38 weeks...withthe twins I had preterm labor at 28 weeks. I have no bleeding or fluid leaking..they just don't seem to be stopping, but they are irregular and uncomfortable, but not painful...

here's the catch, and probably why I am being overly neurotic... last week at my u/s they found scar tissue in my uterus. 10% of the placenta is attched to it, so they will do regular u/s to track baby's growth and they are more worried about post-partum issues...other risks are placenta previa and partial placental death, to top that they are doing a cervical length study because of ptl history so at my last appt it was 2.1,(I guess anything above 2.5 is normal) so it's a little short, but again they weren't overly concerned.

So I guess my question is, should I give it a day or two, call today or just wait for my next appt on 3/3??

Thre really is nobody to help out with the kids and DH is having a heck of time at work so he has been working a ton and I really don't want to ask him to come home unless I really have to...I'm totally confused...sorry for the rant...what would you do??

I would probably at least call and be on the safe side. It never hurts to get checked out if something doesn't seem right. They say that BH are common earlier on in consecutive pregnancies...but that sounds early to me. I didn't start getting them until around 26 weeks this time, but it's never been enough for me to worry about. I actually think I get them less now at 36 weeks than I did at 26 weeks. Keep us posted if you decide to get checked out.

I agree with Becky, to go ahead and call your dr. Most likely, it will reassure you that everything is ok, but better safe than sorry. Hope you feel better!

So I did call the OB and he said, it is probably just an "irritable uterus" due to twins and two other pgs, so I definately felt reassured...and I sat on my duff since DH got home so they have subsided a bit!

I just hate worrying about every little thing!! Such is life I guess!

    Thanks for all the advice!!
