Brady was running into my bedroom today and tripped over his own feet! He fell right into my bed frame and cut a gash right through his eyebrow. He had to get 3 stiches. He was really really good. They had to clean it out, numb it (by sticking a needle directly into the wound 5-6 times) and then stitch it. He just sat there on the table and didn't move 1x. The doctor asked if she could stitch him everyday. :p He'll be okay...actually he is okay! You wouldn't even know it happened.

YIKES!!! You must have freaked out when you saw that. I'm so glad (for him and you) that he was so good and so brave about it. How did his brothers react to it? Just curious as to how siblings react in a situation like that.

Brett went right off to school but when it happened, he was curious to see the blood.

Aidan didn't really seem to know what was going on...

I actually did okay...I didn't panic because at first, I just thought it was a cut that would stop bleeding.

I was however .... ummm...I don't know what feeling I had. Brady & Aidan have EI group from 10-12 on Thursdays that we were literally getting ready to go to.

We added Brett a day to daycare/preschool and his added Thursdays started today so I was actually going to have 2 HOURS TO MYSELF every Thursday starting today...

I swear Brady was laughing in my face saying "I don't think so!"

Glad to hear your disaster turned success story (minus the bye-bye mommy time)

My boys are such (quick) monkeys that I wake up every day with a feeling of dread that we may have our first trip to the ER before bedtime. Maybe I'll get lucky and it will be way easier than i'm building it up to me when the time finally does come.
