BPA Free Sippy/Straw cups?

Are there any other manufacturers besides Born Free out there? I have done some limited research and I can find some on Avent (which cups mine wont use). So, I was wondering if you guys knew of anything else?

Hi Rachel, there are more than just the Born Free products! I did a search the other day, and found this site, which has a list of sippies, bottles, pacis, etc. Hope that helps!

We ended up getting new Gerber cups yesterday.

 

Thanks so much Becky. I knew someone could help me!! I have the Gerber ones and I didnt even know they are BPA free. Go figure. But they have scratched tops from their teeth. So I would like to replace them.

ETA: Wow, who knew there are so many brands that dont have BPA according to the list.

 

I was kind of shocked to find that out too. I was ready to fork over the $10 to Born Free, for a bpa-free sippy! :shok:

I went to the Gerber & Playtex websites to see which cups I have (couldn't remember the names). I'm SO surprised they don't list right on their website they're bpa-free! You'd think now that'd be something they'd really want you to know.

Thanks for posting that website Becky! Thankfully both the bottles and sippies we use are on the BPA-free list!!!

Same here. That is why I was so shocked at all of the ones on the list. I have lots of those on the list and was just like Becky...all ready to shell out the dough for the born free. Who knew? Strange.

 

I emailed Gerber, to make sure. I would really hope the info is right - it'd save me a lot of money!

 

Yep, called Gerber & they said the only ones that are polycarbonate are:

transition cup
nuk learner cup
fun grips soft spout


the rest are BPA-free, including the small parts. Yay!!

 

i have the avent naturally bottles are these ok to use

Probably not. Avent evidently doesn't have any BPA free bottles. Here is what I found when I looked into it, I used Avent too.
