so I'm reading more and more about this BPA issue. But my babies are really used to the Avent nipples. Are there BPA free bottles that fit the Avent nipples?

Yes! The ones by Gerber - Gentle Flow is the exact same shape and fits all the Avent pieces. I am planning on using them for sippy cups too with the Avent handles and spout.
They are found mostly at drug stores or grocery stores - not baby stores or Target or Walmart.
They are really inexpensive too (I think $3)

Yes! The Gerber Gentle Flow, which looks just like Avent, and works with Avent nipples. I've only seen them carried at Walgreens, though.

ETA -- oops, I was posting at the same time as Nancy!

The Born Free nipples are almost exactly the same. I didn't try the avent nipples in the bottle, but my babies switched over no problem. HTH!

Avent has a new system that uses liners like the playtex ones - they're called "Tempo" and you can use all your avent nipples. This is what I bought...
