Boy names

My dh is really fussy when it comes to names but at the moment we have agreed on two names. What do you think?

Anson Banister (Banister is my dh's middle name and his father's middle name)
Soren Carlton (Carlton is my father's middle name)

I've never heard the names Anson or Banister. I've heard of Sorne, but only a few times. How did you come up with such unique nmaes?

Soren is a name my dh and I have always liked even when we first got married six years ago and he would reluctantly talk about future kid names. Banister is my dh's middle name and it was his father's middle name as well. We both love the name and are excited to keep it in the family because it is unique and has such a distinguished appeal to it.

I knew an Anson in high school and thought it was a cool name so when I suggested it to my dh he immediately perked up and liked it a lot, especially bundled with Baniser as a middle name.

 

Anson and Soren are great names, very unique but not "off the wall" ... nice!
