For those of you that have boy/girl twins is your girl taller? Gracyn weighs 13.9 and is 24 1/2 inches long and Garrett weighs 13.9 and is 23 1/2 inches long. He looks a lot bigger than her but they weigh the same. They are 15 wks (adjusted age 8 wks). They were both the same height at birth but now she is passing him up. Thanks!

My DD started a few oz's bigger, but has since been over shadowed by her brother. He's at LEAST one inch taller and at LEAST one pound heavier....

Johnny was born at 6 lb, 15 oz. Zoe was born at 5 lb, 8 oz. Johnny was 1 in taller, I think.

They stayed at a good diff. in weight for a long time, then all of a sudden Zoe totally chunked out. [IMG] Now he's about 1/2 in taller and they're the same weight.

DS has always been bigger than DD even in utero. He weighs about a pound more. But at some of the Dr. appt's she is a bit longer than him then he catches up and so on. I think at their 6 month appt she will be taller and he will be more than a pound heavier... he's pretty stocky. My husband and I are both on the tall side. I'm 5'8" with a very tall family and he's 6'2"...so unless our son picks up some weird gene from our grandparents or his mom, then likely they'll both be on the tall side. Hopefully him taller than her... but girls usually develop quicker than boys so we're expecting a phase where she is definitely taller/bigger than him.

    Are you worried?

Oh also it depends on how they measure them and how cooperative the baby is... sometimes they are off as well!

DS was born 1lb larger than DD and is about 1.5lbs heavier than her now. He's also about 1/2 in taller than she is. I imagine DD will catch up one of these days [IMG]

DD was born i/2 inch longer but 1 pound 2 oz lighter. DS outweighs DD by 3 pounds and is about 1/2 inch taller than DD now.

DS has always been two lbs heavier than DD. Norah is now an ich and a half taller but Nevan is 2 lbs heavier. Norah is 11 lbs and 26 1/2 inches tall; Nevan is 13 lbs and 25 inches tall.

DD is still shorter than DS. DD was 16 3/4" when born and DS was 18. I'm not sure what they are now, but at the 12 months visit DD was still an inch taller than her. However he weighed a pound more than her at birth and she caught up with him around 6 months and then passed him up. They now weigh about the same because she has slimmed down since she started walking. DS has always been a bean pole.

Don't worry. YOu have to remember you can never compare them. They are seperate and will do things in their won time...even gain weight.

DD was born 1 oz heavier than DS. He quickly (by quickly I mean by day 2 I think!) suprassed her.
They have gone back and forth for a while but then he just took off. At their 18mo check up DS was 20lbs 2oz 31inches, DD was 19lbs 2oz and 29inches. So he has got about one 1lb and 2 inches on her! But its carried so differently that she LOOKS like she should weigh more than him!

Lucas is taller, but Lynae weighs significantly more. She was 5lbs 10oz at birth and he was 5lbs even.

Mine are only 2 months old, but they weigh EXACTLY the same (10 1/2 pounds each)

At birth, Jack weigh 6.8 pounds and Bella only 8 pounds. She certainly has caught up to him. She is 1 inch shorter, too. So, pound for pound, she is beating him. ha
