We just had our U/S Tuesday and found out we are having b/g twins.

We are pretty set on Kinsley and Eligh.

Do the names have to be similar? That's the only thing I'm truly worried about.

There is only one thing important when naming children is if you like the names. I have been asking around how other people feel about things like rhyming names and such because I find it interesting what people think. But after all is said and done it's my DH and I who have to say these names everyday.

I think Kinsley and Eligh are great names! They sound good together! But like I said, what's important is you like them.

Cute names! All that matters is that you like them. I named my babies Leah and Justin. We liked those names so that's why we picked it. Some people like rhyming names, others don't. Good luck!

Those are very cute names! Names don't have to be similar - just name them as you would two singletons.

congrats and welcome to the g/b club!

Personally, I really dislike it when twin names are similar. It automomatically ties them to their twin as being "one" or "together" instead of allowing them to be individuals. I think those are beautiful names you have picked out!

I think those are beautiful names! And no, IMO the names absolutely do not need to be similar as I named my b/g twins Ben and Sarah! Congrats, b/g twins are so much fun!!!

Thanks ladies. It's great to hear that their names don't have to be similar. I, too, want to make sure they are two individuals and not just the twins. KWIM?

I like your choices. I certainly am not a fan of rhyming. My daughter chose the twins names based on ethinticity/heritage and the new baby is being named after a beloved family member.
