I am not rich by any means but it seems that all the clothes that are made for boys are so preppy. I would love to find urban type, vintage type clothing for my DS. I know where to get clothes like that for DD but I haven't had luck finding it for DS. I did come across some sites online but one t-shirt is $20!!!!!!! That is a little pricey for shirts they grow out of so quickly. Don't get me wrong, preppy is good but not the style I like. I know the babies don't care what they wear it is more for me but still....

    Any ideas?

Believe it or not, we got some of that sort of thing at Target. I don't know what they have currently, but last summer they had some great more unusual stuff.

I found a couple of sites you can check out. Not sure if they have what you are looking for but I know what you are saying. Something urban and hip. I can totally picture the type of clothes in my head. Almost, like boutique type stuff but without the boutique prices, right? I'll see what else I can find.

I don't know if this would be your cup of tea, but I think Zutano clothes are just gorgeous! They are a bit pricey, but I think one-pc outfits run something like $15-20. You can also get a couple pairs of pants with some crazy print and pair them up with a "boring" plain onesie.

My only complaint about Zutano clothes is that sometimes the proportions are a bit weird. Their one-pc outfits seem a bit long in the arms but short in the legs. (Though this could just be that I have very leggy babies.)

I find a lot at old navy and Kohls. We do a lot of t shirts and jeans though. Old navy online has a good clearance area and shipping is $5 no matter what you spend.

Old Navy online is having a good baby sale right now, 40% off on a lot of things. They have some really cute board shorts and graphic tees as well as the more typical baby-look stuff. Don't know if that's what you're looking for but it's a nice change of pace from the sports, trucks, baby animals, or standard stripes that most baby boy clothes seem to have!

I thought I'd bump this thread up because I ran across this cute clothes website this morning. I didn't have time to check prices or look through it but I bookmarked it to check it later! :D

Edited to add ... Oh I see now that this is a site for several different sources. When you click on an item you like, it takes you the website for that particular designer/maker. It's this type of website that keeps me on the computer for hours ... oh no! ... :p

Oh wow...that Zutano site has some CUTE stuff!

We shop at Old Navy and Target mostly, though I am a sucker for Carters. I guess we do the whole "preppy" thing now that I think about it. If you've ever met my kids you'd know they're so NOT edgy. One of the sites that I really like is www.wrybaby.com, they have some hilarious stuff.
