I'm tired of feeding my boys in their carseats and the boppy pillows just aren't high enough for my spitter. What's the best alternative? I think it might be the bouncy seat or reclining high chair. Couple of questions:

    1) Which do you prefer - Bouncy seats or reclining high chairs?
    2) Do you have a recommendation for either item?
    3) If you prefer the bouncy seat, should I get two of the same kind or two different ones? (I'd probably get the same high chairs.)
    4) If you prefer the high chair, where do you sit when you feed them? I'm trying to think of the logistics of having two high chairs in front of me.

    Thanks a million! Shannon

    I highly recommend bouncy chairs!
I place my babies in bouncy chairs to feed them and love it. I also place them in the chairs and move them around the house. I will put them in it by the sink while I do dishes or next to the computer while I am on TS. etc. My bouncy chairs have vibrations and they love it. Sometimes it even puts them to sleep. My oldest was breastfed, but when we got to do solid foods the bouncy chair was great to have him sit in until he was able to sit up a little better for a high chair. I have two different bouncy chairs. HTH! [IMG]

I still use the bouncy seats when I have to feed the babies bottles at the same time. We have two different fisher price bouncy seats, one is the aquarium bouncy and one is the kick and play bouncy. They both are fine, I don't think the aquarium one was worth the extra cost though. They have definitely been very handy. I think i started using them when the babies were about the same age as yours.

I really recommend the reclining high chairs. We have the fisher price spacesaver ones that you buckle onto your regular kitchen chair. I just set them both infront of me and feed- this is for solids. When feeding bottles I just lay them on a pillow in between my legs. I love that the high chairs don't take up extra space, and can recline or sit straight up. They also turn into booster seats. We got ours at Target!
