I mostly used Dr. Browns. I don't like the cleaning part, but other than that, they've worked pretty well for us. All my 3 children were major spitters (one was diagnosed with reflux after spitting up blood), and they did not resolve the problem, but it did help.

I was loyal to Avent bottles with my son. However, I am going to try the Playtex drop ins this time around, less cleanup for so many bottles.

I'm planning on using Born Free and also checking out the BPA free Dr. Brown's when they come out. I will not use an bottles w/ BPA in them.

We just recently switched from Avent to Dr. Brown's. Love the Dr. Browns!

Playtex Drop ins - less cleanup is ALWAYS good with 2 kids....and you can save a buck or 2 if you buy the Target brand liners - they are the same as Playtex (some of the other generics really suck but the Target brand really doesn't!

I used the Platex drop-ins with my son and plan to do so with my twins. We also buy the generic brand (I like them better than the Platex brand). I have used Target, Wal-Mart and Hy-Vee brand and been happy with all.

I used Avent with my son but my daughter didn't like the nipples. I found she only liked the Gerber Nuk brand. With my twins I plan to nurse and use bottles so first I'll try the Gerber Nuk and see if they like them since that's what I have. I looks like Dr. Browns is popular so maybe I'll try them if Gerber doesn't work.

I have used the platex ventaire from day one and they are alright. I think I am going to switch to gerber tinted bottles now that they are older. I am tired of the different parts of the vent aire. They have leaked a bit if I just put water in them. They usually never leaked with formula in them. You definitly have to remember to unscrew the bottom and wash that out or it will get milk stuck in there and also they are kind of hard to clean around the top where the nipple screws on. I try to rinse them out but sometimes they get thrown in the sink till I wash them at night.

    Hi,

I was wondering the same thing. I've heard so many good things about Dr. Brown's bottles. I would like to start stocking up on them, but have no idea which size or quantity I should start off with. I'm 25 weeks so I still have a little ways to go. Thanks.

We used Avent ... they worked well with my pump (had adapters, so that I could pump right into the bottle).
I'll use the same ones, and just get new nipples.

I was not impressed by Dr. Brown bottles. I stocked up on them upon recommendations from friends and found they were time consuming to clean. Just more of a hassle than anything else. Too many parts to worry about!
