For those of you who are bottle feeding your babies. Which bottles are you using? Thank you for your time.

I used the Gerber wide mouth bottles and Podee Bottles. The Podee bottles are great for feeding both at the same time. You can also feed them while they are in their carseats, swings, etc. because they don't have to be able to hold the bottles themselves. They feed upright so it helps avoid ear problems.

I bf till 6 month exclusively and stopped altogether at 10 months. I love playtex bottles with the liners. THe babes held them on their own early because they could hold the bottom and the could drink it without leaning their head back - they just sucked the air out of it first. Keep in mind though they started at 6 months with these bottles.

I use Avent. *Love* them, except for the fact that if you don't get the nipple on just right, they leak something awful. Dr. Brown's are supposed to be really good too.

I just used the cheap gerber ones.

My suggestion to you is buy a couple different kinds and see which ones your babies like best, then stock up on those. They could both like (or need) a different kind. My dd used a premie nipple for about 4 months and she wasnt even a premie! It just worked for her! I would try the wide and the regular. HTH!

We went through several different brands, and ended up loving the Dr. Brown's. DD also had a hard time with gas, though, and those bottles seemed to help a bit. After awhile, though, I got tired of all the pieces!! So many parts to wash. We got Avents & never had any problems with leaking or anything....they were great. Spendy, though.

I did like the Dr Brown's for when they were smaller; I liked the shape of the nipple more & felt like it was more natural. As they got older, though, the Avents worked fantastic & we still used them for bedtime bottles now.

I used the Avent ones also - but I have to agree that you can have some major leakage problems. But the bottles themselves were great otherwise - and the nipple easy for my girls to adjust to (I both BF and bottle fed for the first few months).

I have heard wonderful things about the Dr. Brown's bottles as well, but my girls were allready done with bottles by the time I really new anything about them.

Love, love, love Dr. Brown's here!! :D Once you get used to it, all the "parts" aren't so bad. :)

We use Nuk and Dr. Brown...for some reason lately, my boys have been showing a preference to the Dr. Browns though. I would love to try the podee's

playtex drop ins. i loved not having to clean them after every use. I just threw the bag away and rinsed the bottle with water.

I used Playtex Drop-ins with the first 3 kids and Dr. Browns with the twins. The Playtex bottles were much easier to clean!!

I bf and bottle feed ebm a lot of the time. I use the AVENT bottles. I agree w/ pp about the leaking problems so I just make sure I tip them on their sides after I fill them to make sure the lid is on good. They are the only ones I have used and as far as I can tell they are great. My boys have no problem going back and forth from the bottle to the breast, they eat just as well off of both.

LLLOOOVVVEEEEE those Dropins. We used them from day one and never regretted it. We just found them so convenient and easy and fast, where ever we were. We had 12 but only use 10. We have a shallow bowl i the sink for washing the nipples and the holders. I actually have never used the DW at all. I thought I would but it is so quick to hand wash and air dry everything. The DW takes longer.

Now I've come to the point where when I go out with them I take 2 -4 holders adn a zip loc bag of clean nipples and an extra bag for the used nipples. It takes up less space then taking 6 bottles. The nursers clean really well and easily. They hardly get dirty at all.

    Good luck.

We also love the Dr. Brown's. We went through every bottle possible until we found these. They worked wonders for our extremely gassy boys! I'll continue to use these until we transition to sippy cups.

Our girls had tiny little mouths at first and only drank about 1-2 ounces per feeding so we started out with the Gerber preemie bottles. From there I moved to the Playtex disposables and we started with the Podee Hands-Free bottles at 2.5 months. We used the Podees exclusively from 3 months onward and they were absolutely fantastic. I recommend them to any twin mom because they allow you to easily and safely feed both babies at once and you can even hold both babies while feeding them because your hands aren't holding bottles.
