I've heard so many so that it is so nice to be off of bottles and onto sippies because of the cleaning. My two are getting a sippy of formula in the morning, sippy of water throughout the day, sippy of whole milk in the afternoon, and a bottle of formula in the evening. I have 4 sets of sippies so I don't wash until the end of the day. However, I think it is as big of a chore as washing 4 Dr. Brown bottles. Am I miss something? Why is this such a chore to me? Is there an easier way?

I use the same sippy for the whole day and just rinse it out if I need to. We start with milk in the morning and once they have drunk all the milk they need for the day, I switch it to water in the sippy. I've never had an issue. Then, at the end of the day, I just take it all apart and rinse it and pop all the pieces in the dishwasher. We use straw sippies, but I don't think that really matters.

I use 2 sippies for each of them for one day. They each have a sippy for milk and a sippy for juice. So at the end of the day we wash 4 sippies.

We only use two sippies each too. I keep them in the fridge after meals, snacks. One sippy is for juice or water and they other sippy is for milk. And we throw them in the dishwasher when done. We really like the First Step take-n-toss sippies and they are extremely easy to clean.

I totally griped about this a couple of weeks ago. The Nuby cups have the same number of parts as Dr Brown's bottles! I haven't saved any dang time at all.

I do only use 4-5 cups per day, so I stocked up and run the dishwasher. I have stopped hand-washing.

We used Playtex cups and they were pretty easy to clean. There was only the cup the top and the valve. I never had any issues cleaning them. Once we got straw cups we used Munchkin brand and again there was the cup the top and the straw. The straw was a bit of a pain to get thoroughly clean but it wasn't bad.

We use the First Years take & toss sippies. They are super-easy to clean, just stick them in the dishwasher -- no valve, no straws, just a cup and a lid. They come in packs of $10 (for like $5 a pack) so we just have zillions of them. We often have to run the dishwasher at the end of the day just because it's full of sippy cups.

This is what I do to, except with regular sippies, not the straw ones. I also have the Take 'n Toss ones for them that we use outside or anytime we go somewhere. They're cheap, so I'm not worried if I lose one.
