No, that one doesn't do 2 bottles. That's what I thought at first too. It warms ONE and the other 2 slots are to keep it cool. I haven't seen a double bottle warmer, someone should make one! I think they would sell!

It was worth it to me to go ahead and buy a second one. I got one at a shower and the other one at BRU for about $17. Those nights of waiting waiting waiting for the other bottle to warm were torture!

I had one like that, but it had to have distilled water, what a pain. I ended up getting two single "first years" warmers from Wal-Mart. It was much easier.

Does your upstairs bathroom have really hot water? We found that it was just as fast to stick two bottles into containers (we used tall tupper wares from a thai take-out place!) with really hot water as it was to do the bottle warmer thing. But if it takes forever for your hot water to kick in in the middle of the night, this method is not for you.

I can't imagine having to heat bottles on top of everything else with having twins. When the girls were in the NICU, the nurses fed them room temperature bottles, so we have been doing that ever since. It's a lot easier for us! :)

I haven't found a double bottle warmer. We just do the hot water thing but it's starting to take too long with the larger amount of milk now. I would recommend getting two regular ones - they are on my list for the next shopping trip.

When they were younger I would just take the new bottles out of the fridge as soon as they finished a feeding, put them on our nightstand (or the kitchen counter during the day) and by the time they were ready to eat 3 hours later, the bottles would be just perfect at room temperature, no heating required! They got used to this and didn't have a warm bottle until after they started daycare some 7 months later......

Now the only time they get warmed bottles is right before bedtime. A warm bottle = sleepy baby!! LOL

We did the same thing. Our girls have always gotten their bottles at room temperature.

We use a small crock pot. It is perfect! I just leave it on "keep warm".

I just use a glass mug in the microwave for 20 seconds so it gets the water luke warm and then put it in the bottle and add powder. That way I am not heating plastic and it is faster and helps mix the powder faster. We had a bottle warmer in the beginning but we had to measure out the amount of water and in the middle of the night when you can't see straight, I hated it. It also seemed to take forever (I am sure a minute isn't long but when you have two screaming twinfants, a minute is an eternity).

OOh I like that idea. I'm 5 1/2 months pregnant and always looking for good ideas. I'm going to do the room temp for regular bottles and warm only at night. Hopefully, that wil make the difference and let them know its sleeping time.
