I'm sure it's been asked a 1000X, but do you moms like them, hate them? Do you have preferred favorite?

I tried just stuffing a burpy towel up & under when I need a hand to do something quickly...but it just isn't working so well, LOL.

I have tried the milk maid thing and didn't like it, I went back to my old system:

Put them in their high chairs which are reclined back all the way (we have the fisher-price space saver things). I keep full size bathroom towels on hand by the highchairs and make a nest for the bottles and they do real well, and the towel catches the drips and is easily washed.

One key I have found is to support the entire bottle. (front to back)and to angle up the sides so it doesn't roll around.

    HTH!

I would use a towel or just hold both of the bottles while feeding...I do both. I have both the Milk Maid holders and podees. I cannot stand the podees - they did not work at all for us. The milk maids I use sometimes, but I end up having to hold the bottles anyway.

I say - save yourself some money and use a towel from home. IMHO

I had the Little Wonders bottle proppers for a few months and they worked well. When the girls started moving their heads around too much for the bottle proppers to stay put we got the Podees. This was at 2.5 months old. We LOVED those bottles. It took Ainsley about 3 days to get the hang of it and Sierra took about a week. It was time very well spent though. By 3 months of age, they rejected all their other bottles except the Podees so we used those exclusively until 13 months old.

One thing I liked about the bottle propper and the Podees were that they allowed me to keep my hands free so I could either hold or interact with both babies at once during feeding time. I hated holding up bottles with my hands while they sat in their bouncers or carseats.

I have 2 bottle bundles that I got at our local twin sale. They were only about $5 totol and I love them. I think that they work great. I had trouble using towels and blankets because the bottle always seemed to roll off. We also tried the podee but I think that Mia got to much air with them.

I also never propped a bottle. Although, it was so much easier when they could hold their own.

What we did is to fill a tube sock with rice and tie the end. It's not too heavy, but you can manipulate the rice to nestle the bottle down. It works perfectly!

We used the milk maid ones and they worked great for us for quite a while. Actually, they were a life saver for us!

I relied heavily on the milk maid proppers. My girls can now pretty much hold their bottles, but I love(d) them!
