Did anyone buy one of those devices to hold the bottles up so you can feed two at a time? If so, which one? Did it work?

I use the bottle bundles. I just need to add a folded receiving blanket under them and they work great.

It took a lot of trial and error to find something that I liked.

Heh. One of those things I'd forgotten about. We did have, for a short while, the "Milk Maid Bottle Holders". I hate this site because the drawing makes it look high-tech and it's just a styrofoam thing... but they worked well. Until the dog ate them.

We did a bit of towel tucking as well, to prop the bottles. (I was always there).

I used a small rolled up blanket or a near by small stuffed toy and it worked great.

I would read some articles about the dangers of bottle propping. I don't know what advice the other ladies will have for you.

I think this site is a little judgmental ("Add that to the increased likelihood that goes along with feeding formula instead of breast milk..." -- um, increased likelihood of what -- poor writing skills???) I think you can prop in a responsible way. And with two screaming twin infants, SORRY, BUT YOU DO WHAT YOU HAVE TO!!! I never left my girls unattended, but sometimes I'd have one propped while I held and fed the other right there.

Oh Marie I am sorry, I was not trying to start a debate, that is the last thing I want on this wonderful board. Iknow how quickly feeding issues can turn negative. (as i've see on mom boards I've seen in the past)

I think people can prop very responsibly, my concern is with the propping devices that may not allow for the child to move the bottle away and cause possible choking. or used in a car when you can't see what is happening.

    My applogies.... xoxoxox

I may have overreacted, and I agree, one shouldn't leave babies propped and unsupervised, but until you are there with two fussy hungry babies...never say never. But always keep an eye on them.

Hey, btw, I see that your son is two days older than my girls.
