Bottle Feeding Challenge

I'm a new mom of b/g twins that are 2 1/2 months old and have been fortunate to have family help so far for feeding times. Any suggestions on how to feed both babies at one time at this point? Thanks so much!

 

At that age I would put them both in a boppy slightly elevated and feed them at the same time.

Ditto this or a bouncer or carseat works well also.

 

I am a single mom of twins that are now 10 months old, and when mine were a few months of age, I found this product on ebay that was a life saver. It looked like a mini boppy with a scrunchi in the middle and you can rest it on the childs sholders and the end of the bottle goes through the scrunchi part. its slightly elevated so the baby doesn't suck air. I just searched on e-bay for twins feeding...or something liek that. They were ten bucks and a life saver while they are this little!

 

I put one one my legs that are propped up with him or her slightly elevated looking at me and one on a boppy beside me. My husband sits on the middle of the couch with a boppy on both sides of him and that works too.

 

At that age, I put a regular bed pillow in my lap, placed them head to head on the pillow, and fed them that way. I had one hand for each baby, and they were both able to see me.

 

I bf and used bottles also - and the best way for me (even now at 12 mos) was to put a Boppy pillow on my lap - lay each baby so their feet were facing the back of the couch and their heads were on the curve part of the Boppy pillow and then I'd either nurse them or bottle feed them. It's the bfing football hold. It worked really well for me and allowed me to hold both babies while feeding them, which I really wanted to be able to do.
