I've been having botox in my forehead for about 18 months now and I love it - I'm not very vain but it takes at least 5 years off me I think (I'm mid 40s)

However, my last trip two weeks ago, she seemed to inject 'higher' than normal and as a result I had pretty frozen top of half my forehead, but total mobility (and lines!) in the bottom half. It looked very strange.

So I went back at the weekend and she agreed to add more lower down, but I felt she didn't add very much (it's hard to tell though)

It still doesn't seem to have worked very well above my eyebrows.

I'm a bit embarrassed to ask to go back again - is this a common occurrence after having botox for 18 months? Should I just accept it?

I had Botox for about 6 years and had no issue with it not working.
I would have 11's, crows feet and a little in the forehead.
Do you always get offered a free 2 week checkup and top up if needs be? If not, I would be going elsewhere.

I had a similar issue a while back and it turned out the Botox was either stored wrong or diluted too much. I switched providers and saw a real difference. Miami Medical Spa Services helped me figure out what was going wrong and adjusted the units and placement, which made it last much better. Sometimes it’s not your metabolism—it’s how or where it’s being done.
