Boppy pillow and newborn lounger

We have two boppy's that I use for feeding the babies at the same time, and was wondering what the difference is between the regular boppy and the boppy newborn lounger? Target has the lounger on sale right now, and I'm wondering if I should get two of them while their pretty cheap?! Any opinions? Do any of you have both? Also, if you have the lounger, how long could your LO's use them? I don't want to buy them if they can't use them for very long...my LO's are 2 months old.

I don't have a boppy lounger (and never heard of them before your post). I just went online and looked... I wouldn't think that they'd be all that critical if you already have the regular boppies. For us, we used the boppies for "lounging" for the first three months or so and then for tummy time. It doesn't look like you could use the loungers for tummy time since there's no open part for baby legs to hang down. Now I feed both of my girls in their boppies, and again, the loungers wouldn't work because my girls actually sit on the floor and lean back on the boppies.

So... my opinion is that if you have the regular ones, no need to spend money on the loungers.

 

I saw those at the store last week and thought "eh..." I don't think you need both at all. We still use our boppys, and I think that lounger would get "grown out of" pretty quickly. I guess if you have preemies, they might be nice at the very beginning for them to lay in, but if you're already using boppies, I don't think I'd get the loungers, but that's just me.

 

I don't know how old your LO's are -- but we LOVED the newborn loungers for the first 3.5 months at our house -- don't know if I could have lived without them!! However, if yours are getting close to that age -- we grew out of them (though I do still used them occasionally) and now use the regular boppies.
