My boys are suddenly obsessed with their old Boppies. I had them on the floor b/c we use them when the boys are stuffy or have coughs to prop them up at night. They are now demanding that they get to sleep with them and want to carry them around the house when nap/bed time is over. The are going to big boy beds this weekend and I'm not sure if I'm going to get them pillows or just let them keep using their Boppies. I know they say not to let babies sleep on them, but what about toddlers?

If they are big enough to carry them around, they can sleep with them! Too funny. Aren't kids a riot?!

So funny! My boys always get excited when I am going through baby stuff that they used to like. I have to hide their old toys if I want to get rid of them!

I hope the transition to big boy beds goes well! :) Maybe the boppies will help make the transition even more comfortable for them. Let us know how it goes.

Good luck Megan with the big boy bed transition. I would let them keep the boppies if it will help with the transition. For what it's worth, my best friend has a 4 year old that loves his boppy and still uses it. She was going to use it for their new baby (due in a month) but figures he would flip out, so she got a new one.

Meg, I would let them use those in their beds. I bought my girls toddler pillows and they don't work at all, they just come out from under the girls' heads. I'm trying to find two pillows that my girls will actually use - so far the closest I've come is a very loosely filled down pillow.

So if your boys like to use the boppies I'd definitely keep them around for their beds and don't waste your money on toddler pillows!

Every time I read this thread title, I read "Booby" instead of "Boppy".

LOL! Sorry! I do that sometimes with certain topics!

Thanks for the advice girls. Tonight is the night and I'll let you know how it goes. I'm currently enjoying our last "contained" naptime. I'm so nervous! I went to Target today and bought pillows (only $2.99). They were the thinnest and cheapest. We'll do the Boppies tonight and if all goes well, let them have the pillows over the weekend. I'll be back tomorrow with pictures! :)

GL tonight Megan! My girls still love their boppies and use them every night to have a sippy of milk.

Good luck with the big boy beds. I'm personally terrified of the day when mine go to big beds. I have visions of them being up all night!
