Is this a good idea? The boys usually fall asleep right after eating in their boppies and I just leave them there. . . Is this a recipe for disaster?

Because of this we haven't been able to do play time, I've been hesitant to do playtime after feeding because they tend to spit up out of the inclined position. . .

    Any ideas?

I would only do it if you check on them all the time... I've heard of babies sliding and suffocating in their boppies... thankfully the mom was back in time to get the baby out.

We did this a lot in the beginning but only if we were right next to them or in the same room constantly checking on them but it really helped with the reflux issues after eating!

We let the girls nap in the boppies when they were tiny. I was always in the room with them and I also draped a receiving blanket over the boppy before laying them down so they wouldn't slide around a lot. It was great for my spitter!

Mine used to fall asleep in them after eating all the time, but I was paranoid about them sliding and suffocating, so I would always stay in the room with them just to keep an eye on them.

The only thing I'd get nervous about is them getting used to it and having a difficult transition to their cribs (or wherever you want them to sleep). Mine love to sleep in those, but I always wake them up, burp them, and move them to their cribs. We also do playtime after eating (most times...unless they're passing out or it's the middle of the night - LOL) and they do spit up, but I just clean it up...this is my life now, right? :p

I had them napping in the boppies until they could roll out of em!
