I have had Ensure before, and liked it. We get it at BJs and we pay about $24 for 24 bottles. I see that Boost has a high protein variety that they sell and it's a similar price. What kind of nutrition drink do you prefer?

    Thanks so much!

I liked the vanilla flavor of both of those brands. The Ensure tasted better, but I believe the Boost had a little more protein.

    Thank you for your question.
today I had almost the same question to myself.
I went to the store to buy the protein drink to keep it at work.
and I start comparing the slim fast with ensure and I notice that Ensure ( E) has only 13g protein vs SlimFast ( SF) 15g
    but looking at the sugar E - 19g; SF - 12g
    fiber E-6g SF - 5g.
after I figure out that slimfast - 11oz can versus ensure 8 oz.

I decided to try ensure and bought it ( at home I have SF) I can tell you it much easy to drink and IT IS MUCH SWEETER.

So I still didn't decided what to do after I run out of my SF at home. Buy ensure or keep with Slimfast.
right now there is a deal on Amazon buy slimfast on $79 get $25 off.

I would stay avoid Slimfast if possible. I think it has appetite suppressants and unnecessary ingredients for pregnant women. I had been using the powder before I got pregnant- before that, I was doing the shakes, but then I read the ingredient list and got grossed out.

Ensure and Boost on the other hand, are meant to supplement nutrition and not substitute or be a meal replacement.

But I don't know too much about these things, so I could be off/wrong.

I use ensure for those times when I am really hungry (so, every day :p ) to just give me a little jump start because I am tired of trying to come up with new things to eat all the time. I figure it doesn't really matter the difference between the protien, because most people in North America get LOTS of protien every day..either drink will help you get your daily requirements.
