What are some of your favorite books for your 2yr olds?

We have tons but when I am reading them constantly they get old so I want more.

    Thanks!

Have you tried any of The Pigeon books by Mo Willems. Trish turned us on to them and all three of my kids love them.

The "How Do Dinosaurs...?" series is really cute - they have themes like going to bed, counting to ten, get well soon, playing with friends... oh, so cute!

Also, "Chicka Chicka Boom Boom" is popular here right now - they like to fill in the rhyming words for me!

Yep, I would agree with anything from Sandra Boyton.
Also:Behavior Series, Baby Einstein books (We have "Water, Water Everywhere & My 1st book of letters), The Biscuit Booksby Alyssa Satin Capucilli, and they are really into Elmo books.

There are 4 of their books that IS still their favorite past time books when they were 2.

the Gossie books (Gossie, Gossie & Gertie, Peedie, etc.)

    The Big Red Barn

Mr. Brown can Moo, Can You (by Dr. Seuss)

How Do Dinosaurs says "Good Night" (current favorite)

and all of Sandra Boyton's book collection

*We just started collecting Step into Reading Level 1 & 2 with varies of collections because they are able to read it back to us. This would be good for 2.5 yrs and Up. We use the 1 or 2 book with this one for a month. And you can certainly tell that they memorized and reading outloud to us.

It is amazing how all of us share the same book reading that the twins' enjoy reading!

Anything by Dr. Seuss. The pictures are great and his use of words (both real and made up) is fantastic for little imaginations. My girls are very much into rhyming so Dr. Suess books are especially good lately.
