So, my dd wakes up with boogies EVERY single morning. It's not cold or hot in her room, so I don't know what is causing these monsters to be there. I work on getting them out all day...but they are dry and sort of stuck. I have read about a saline to use to soften them up, but don't know exactly what it is. Suggestions? Anyone want to take a guess at what could be causing this? She doesn't have a cold...at least nothing else is cold like other then a stuffy boogie nose. TIA

I've always used the Little Noses saline spray/drops. I hate using it, but it seems to work.

We just use the Walmart Equate brand of drops---seems to work fine and is only $2 a bottle.

I was told to use Baby Ayre for their noses. Our doctor said that it wasnt as stong as the others but it worked as well. I guess you just need somthing to make them softer. HTH

Same thing with one of my girls. I have always used saline - whether it be generic or Little Noses. Our pedi strongly suggests it since mine have been stuffy from very early on. It helps her tremendously and those little boogers seem to just slide out on their own. (TMI?)
