I had my boobs done just a little over year ago, and now I am pregnant with Twins. My fear is that they are going to be Destroyed from this pregnancy. Already, they have stretch marks on them... I was just wondering if anyone had fake boobs before twins, and can tell me everything turned out fine. I would love to hear your experiences. TIA!

I have a friend who had one done 10 years ago (she older than me) and just had her first baby 8 years after the augmentation. They didn't really affect her BB's too much. In fact, there is a group of us who didn't even knowt hey were falsies until here recently. We were shocked b/c they don't look fake at all.

So, hopefully this pregnancy won't affect them. Now, the stretch marks might now go away, but your breasts will go back to "normal" size, if not smaller once you are done with b/f, pumping or once your milk dries up. I would ask your dr. who did the surgery how they are normally affected by child birth.

Your boobs get smaller than they were pre-pregnancy?

Hey! I have big fake ones too!! I am 19 weeks along and have mentor implants filled to 525 CCs, so they are large!! They are sore and feel hot somedays.. I got them done in March 2004.. I think that they will need to be redone eventually, but I knew that when i had them done.. so this time around I plan on waiting till we are done having kids and get them redone with a lift and probably a tummy tuck to get rid of the twin tummy!! HTH!!

PS- I have stretch marks too there! I am crossing my fingers hoping those don't get too bad!! YIKES!

I had implants put in 1999 and got pregnant with my first DD in 2002. I had no issues during my pregnancy but not to scare you, my left implant deflated in 2003 when I was in my 4th month of breastfeeding. The cost of removing them (or replacing)was re-imbursed back to me by Mentor. I had both implants removed and beleive it or not, my boobs stretched back to what they were to begin with - yeah I was nuts, I was a C cup to begin with and went to a DD. Anyhow, I've been telling DH that I'm so getting a few things worked on after the babies a little older ;)

I just got them in January - I also got a scar on my stomach touched up because we decided not to have any more kids (I have one daughter). Then at the end of March I started feeling sick and the rest is history! I'm using lots of belli oil - I didn't get stretch marks with my first so I'm hoping I won't get them this time. For the most part my size didn't increase during breast feeding - they would just become hard.

To be honest I'm not overly concerned with their appearance, but I really want to breast feed again, so I really hope I didn't impair my ability to do so. Even though I thought we were done having kids, I did look into the breastfeeding after implants issue and went with an under breast incision and under muscle implants since that is supposedly the safest way to go.

We'll see!! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!

I got implants in 1993 at age 23 - (not huge - only went to a full C cup). Anyway, when I was pregnant with the babies, I ended up with DD's. I had a little trouble getting my milk supply in on my left breast but the doctor said it was probably not due to the implants. Anyway, I breastfed my DS for 3 months and pumped for my DD. Since they stopped BFing, my cup size has gone back down to the C and luckily I didn't get stretch marks on them (can't say the same for my belly! <_< ). What I have noticed is that they sag more now than they did prior to the babies (not like banana boobs or pendulous, but just more than before). I think they look much better now and won't (barring a medical issue like PP with the rupture) mess with them again. Besides, now, I need to save $$ for the tummy tuck because my twin skin REALLY bothers me! :bad:

Got mine in November 2005 (went from a B to a small D). Most people don't even know. Anyway...I have stretch marks...on my belly and on the girls. Now...they are getting lighter but they are there. I am also bfing and have primarily bf for the last 5 1/2 months. I went under the breast for the incision because I wasn't sure about having kids/bfing/etc, and it hasn't interfered with that at all. since I'm bfing still I can't tell you what they'll be like after but they already look even more natural...a little sag to them...it's actual nice. HTHs.

I had mine done in April 2006 and got pregnant in June of 06!! Before Implants I was an A went to a small D, ended up with DD. Love them! I've noticed that they look more natural now than they did before. I do have some stretch marks on them, but going from an A to a DD is the reason why. I pumped for 3 months and had no problems with anything.
