    hi all,

I guess it's that time of year when I start thinking about exercise! My twinkies are 6.5 months old, and I would love to start getting back into shape. I've lost most of my 55 lbs of pregnancy weight thanks to breastfeeding (and I'm guessing a naturally fast metabolism) but of course certain areas of my body, especially my tummy, don't look anything like they used to. I'm not unrealistic - - I know I will never look like I did before carrying two babies to 39 weeks+ and giving birth to nearly 15 lbs of baby. I earned my stretchmarks, and I'm proud of them! But I would like to feel my best and be healthy again.

So, what kind of exercise is everyone else doing, if you're doing any? Any tips for finding time or for workouts that are especially Mommy friendly? Anyone want to share any success stories? I'm hoping we can all cheer each other on!!

    Amy

I would like the support - I'm going to start something next week. My problem is finding time to exercise, with the kids and working full time. Any suggestions would be great!

Time is always an issue in my house, too. I try to workout 5-6 times a week, but I can only commit 20-25 minutes a day. My boys are now 3, but they were like 8 months when I started to feel the need to get back in shape (and had some energy to start moving around).
I started out with Jillian Michaels: 30 day shred. It was awesome. 3 exercises (warm up, strength 3 min., cardio 2 min, abs 1 min - repeat 3 times)for 3 different levels and each of them are no longer than 20 minutes.
Once I got it under my belt, I moved to Jillian Michaels: Get ripped...same type of strength, cardio, abs for four different levels.
When the weather got better, I was outside running...slowly built up enough strength to run 2.5 miles with no effort.
I can also recommend HASFIT. You get to pick your torture 20 minutes and it'll torch fat like you wouldn't believe.

Good luck! And most of all, whatever you decide on, just stick with it!
