bloody noses can be a normal part of pregnancy....I would mention it to your doctor next time that you go in, but it is really nothing to worry about.

I think it can be pretty normal, I usually just have some blood in the tissue after blowing my nose.... Nothing spurting out or anything...(sorry for the visual!) But I would mention it to the doctor....just to be safe...

Yeah, I used to get them almost every day in the first few months (mainly in the tissue when I blew). They have let up a little, but not completely. With my last pregnancy, I got a humidifier and that pretty much took care of it! It's worth a shot. Good luck.

Its quite common to have them. This is my third pregnancy. I've had bloody noses with all of them. I got one while driving the other day. Always carry tissue with you.Lol. I didn't have any, so i quickly drove to my MIL house to clean up. I had blood all over my hands.Joys of pregnancy. :D

I used to get them daily, with no warning. And mine weren't 'just' on the tissue :).

I did mention it to my doc, who said it's common in pregnancy (more so in the winter months), but also checked my platelets to ensure it wasn't something else underlying. So, just be sure to mention it so they know!

    Here's what I found for you: :)
While you are pregnant, the respiratory tract lining receives more blood. This is a result of certain hormones that stimulate the blood flow in the body. As a result, the respiratory tract is often much more congested, which may also lead to nosebleeds. A second side effect that this increased flow of blood may have is sensitive or bleeding gums.

It is definitely common to have bloody noses during pregnancy. I know that I had them during both of my pregnancies. If they continue, I would just mention it to the doc at your next visit.

I had bloody noses with my pregnancy and I would even have blood clots come out.

I had bloody noses just about everyday during my second trimester. Everyone told me it was normal.

I am getting bloddy noses, too. Not bad, but irritating. My gums even bleed now when I brush my teeth!! I did ask OB & he said it's normal that when you become pregnant your tissues become thinner and weaker. But I would still mention it to your OB.
