Blood?

Okay this is a really disgusting question to ask but I just went to the bathroom and had a BM. Okay fine. Well I was a little constipated but Not a big deal to me. I also urinated. So this is my question.

When I went to wipe I had a little bright red blood on the tissue. Dont know if it was maybe a Hemorrhoid (gross) starting or if it is actual vaginal bleeding. I dont have any cramping right now and I wiped a couple times and it stopped. I dont know if I should see my doc or if I should wait and see if it happens again.

Please help!

 

If it was just a little, I wouldn't worry. But if you are worried -- call the doc.

It's probably either a hemorrhoid or an anal fissure. After the next BM, try to determine where the blood is coming from, use the tissue to locaate the source, rather than just wiping, if you know what I mean.

 

I wouldn't worry either - especially if it was bright red blood - that's usually a hemmroid coming to ruin your month! I agree with PP - blot next time, and it will be much eaiser to tell where the blood is coming from. I speak from experience here, sorry to say!

I am 17 weeks and 2 days along.

 

i had a lot pf bleeding while pregnant. My OB said that it is okay to spot bleed especially after a bm.

 

Thank you everyone who replied so far. It helps alot. Just everrything is so new to me and I get a little concerned some times. Its very nice to have someone to talk to when your worried. Thanks

 

TMI.. wipe 2 places that way you know where its comming from.. hope this reassures you

 

I had some blood the other day too and I'm positive it wasn't vaginal. I plan to mention it to my OB on Mon., but I'm really not worried about it. I hope your situation is the same.

 

Bright Red blood is good.. nothing to worry about!
