Blood work

I'm curious to know have many of you had blood work done more then once? I haven't had any b/w since my first inital appointment at the very beginning. Of course they check my urine everytime and do an u/s. BUT should I be concerned about iron, sugar, and any of defficencies??? I haven't even had the one hour gluclose test yet. Or is all this coming up and I'm jumping ahead?

How many weeks are you? I think the GTT is done around 24 weeks. I also had a few finger sticks for anemia, which I had. I don't remember when that started.

 

I had the GTT done at 24 or 25 weeks. :good: I don't remember when or if I had any other bloodwork done.

 

Oh sorry I could never get my ticker thingy to work... I'm 24 weeks exact. I know they check things in the urine but I read Dr. Luke's book over the weekend and she talked a lot about iron and being careful. So I was just curious. I do have hypoglycemia and I guess I expected some type of check.

One more question if I may. Now that I've established what BH contractions feel like I've been having about 10 a day. Is that pretty common. Sometimes 2-3 an hour but most of the time they are spaced out. The majority though happen at night. Is that strang or am I ok? LOL!!! sorry so many quesitons.

If you go to lilypie.com, create the ticker, copy the BBCode option(the others won't work), go to my controls, and paste it into the signature box, it should work!

I would definitely ask your doctor about your concerns. When is your next appointment?

I always had more BH's between about 3 and 7pm. After that they would calm down. My doc always wanted me to call if I had more than 6 in an hour, so if I had 2-3 I was doing good. Drink TONS of water...and then drink some more!

Good to know because I've been having a lot these days. I have upped my water intake esepcially at night but man does that make me have to get up 4-5 times a night to pee. LOL!! Whatever works though.
