bleeding at 28 weeks

    Hi all,

    I've been at hospital bedrest since 26 weeks with PTL/Shortened cervix. My FFN came back positive on Sat. and now I've just had minor bleeding mixed with light mucus. I'm officially at 28 weeks and 2 days, but wondering how much longer I can hold on. Anyone had similiar experiences? If so, when did you give birth?

    I just wanted to say GOOD LUCK. Hang in there. I can only imagine how stressful this situation is for you. But luckily you are on hospital bedrest so you know they are keeping a close eye on you. Keep us posted!

    I am glad that you are in the hospital where they can keep a close eye on you. I do not have any experience with that I just wanted to let you know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.

    I went on bedrest at 28 weeks after having PTL/shortened cervix and my FFN test came back positive (but no bleeding). I had an emergency c-section at 35 weeks, 2 days so there's no telling how long you could last. The FFN test is notoriously unreliable when you get a positive. Wishing you all the best throughout the rest of your pregnancy and beyond!! :hug:

    :hug: Just wanted to let you know that 28 weeks is a great milestone and it's amazing what hospitals can do for preemies now. Lots of us on here (me included) have had preemies and they are doing fantastic now. :)
