I am currently 10 weeks 2 days pregnant with twins. Everything has been uneventful so far, other than nausea, fatigue...
I had an ultrasound at 7w1d and saw both babies heartbeats. Around 5pm last night I had some red blood, sorry if tmi, but covered about 2x2 on my undies. About an hour later I went to the restroom and some more went into the toilet. There was no clots and no cramping. I didn't have anymore bleeding after that, only a little brown last night during the night, but probably left from the bleeding before.

I am wondering if any of you ladies have had similar experiences and went on to deliver or are still pregnant and doing well after red bleeding? I am about to leave to a dr's appt with my OB, so hopefully we can check everything out with an ultrasound. I am praying and believing my babies are okay!

Thank you so much for listening ladies!

 I did and I went on to have 2 healthy boys. There are lots of us that had exactly what you are describing and went on to have no issues. I had a subchorionic hematoma near one of the placentas that was causing some of the bleeding. I had a major bleed at 6 weeks (found out twins), then another one about 9 weeks (all still fine), and then some spotting around 12 weeks. Then I never bled a drop again. Keep us posted on your OB appt today.

I didn't bleed with twins ( just had spotting) but I would call your Doctor. and ask him to check on you.

I had 2 bleeding episodes (8 wks and 10 wks) in my pregnancy. I went to 38 wks and have 2 healthy boys.
You should call your doc though for peace of mind...it can be nothing and it's quite common - especially in multiples.

    Hi,
I had a huge bleed (subchorionic hemorrhage) at about 7 weeks during my second pregnancy (singleton). It was a TON of bleeding with clots, cramping, etc. We were sure we had lost the baby, but now she's a healthy 2 year old. With my twins, I had bleeding around 8 weeks due to another subchorionic hemorrhage. It wasn't as bad as with my daughter, but it was still a fair amount of blood. It lasted for a few days, and then it stopped. Later ultrasounds still showed where the blood was pooled in my uterus, but by about 24 weeks, it had all reabsorbed. I am now almost 34 weeks pregnant with the twins, and they're doing great. I know it can be very scary, but I don't think it's uncommon. Good luck and please keep us posted.

Thank you ladies for all the kind words and reassurance!

We had an ultrasound, and both babies were doing great, strong heartbeats. They were even moving around it was so cool. One was measuring at about 3.4cm, and the other 3.2cm. She said it could be that my placenta is close to my cervix possibly, but everything looked good. She seemed to think that everything looked perfect!

It was so great to see my little ones! Wow they have changed since 7 weeks!! Thank you God!!

    No more bleeding so far..

Glad you went and got it checked and everything is good! I had the same thing at about 10 weeks, no explanation either!

So happy you and the babies are doing well!! I also had a few different bleeding episodes, once at 8 weeks, another at 12 or 13 weeks, which was actually quite a bit heavier than the first time. I hear a ton of women have bleeding and then go on to have normal pregnancies/birth/baby(s). Good luck the rest of your pregnancy!

I started bleeding at 6 weeks (thats when we found out they were twins) and didn't completely stop until 12 weeks! I freaked out also but everything was always okay at the sonos! I think spotting is common early on with a twin pregnancy.

The day i turned 12 weeks i went to bed and woke up bleeding too, i went into the er to get checked and they kept me from midnight till like 8am. They said it could be previa, or placenta abruption. I bled from 12 weeks till almost 17 weeks. I am now 28 and both girl and boy are healthy

Me too. I had a massive gushing bleed at 15 weeks that continued for eight weeks. I'm now 32 weeks and still pregnant. Baby A does have severe IUGR and it may be due to the damage of her placenta at the time of the bleed, but she's still alive and kicking!

I had bleeding around 5-6 weeks and then again 12-13 weeks. It was similar to yours, not heavy and eventually went to more brown of a color. I am 31 weeks along with 2 healthy girls. Glad you went to the doctor and checked it out, better safe than sorry. I know it's a relief to see them on the screen doing well.

i bled around week 7 for about a week, clots and everything, then it tapered off and became spotting for the next 7 weeks. I am not 22 weeks pregnant with my girls.

I'm glad everything if fine with your little ones and i'm sure things will continue to go well. I was warned at my 7 week u/s to expect bleeding as they found a hematoma that totally disappeared by my 10 wk appt. Keep those babies cookin!
