Blatant brag

Okay, so Jack and Lily and I (NOTE- just the three of us) have had a wonderful morning. We started off by going to Starbucks where they sat at the table drinking their chocolate milk like very big boys and girls. They even sat there while I waiting in line to get some more choc. milk! One lady told me how good they were and that her kids would never do that ....Yea! I was finally THAT mom! I am usually the one saying "wow, my kids would never ____".

Then we went to the beach where we played for a good hour and a half and then we went over to the pool for about an hour. They swam the ENTIRE hour we were at the pool.

We have made it home in one piece and now it is DH's turn while I go rollerblading....

Sorry for the brag, just proud to have done all of this by myself and we all had a great time doing it! I always take them to do things by myself but this is the first time we have done so many things.

I LOVE days like that!!!! I feel like I have truly accomplished something, way more than when I stay home all day, get all the laundry done, dishes done, stuff put away and house clean, because I'm usually so frustrated with the boys because they want my attention and I am trying to do other things. Congrats on a great mommy day.
