Jessy doesn't have a specific blankie she likes, she likes any fuzzy blanket(fleece, chenille, ect.). It stays about 75 in out apartment at night. She will sleep with cotton blankets but soothes herself better with a fuzzy. Do y'all think it would be too hot to let her keep her blanket?

We have the same problem . . . all winter ours slept covered up by 2 warm fleece blankets. They still want them (and insist on having both) even when it's 80 degrees in their rooms. We've given up and let them go to sleep that way. They get really hot! They'll usually end up kicking them off though. I do try to go check on them before I go to bed and take at least one blanket off (if they still have 2 on).

Our girls both love their "fuzzy" blankets and sleep with them every night. They go to bed wrapped up in them, but usually end up kicking them off and laying on top of them. I check on them and if they are uncovered, I have a light weight blanket I lay across them. I think they like to snuggle with their fuzzy blankets more than anything. If we let them take them out of their cribs, they will drag them all over the house and will want to eat in their high chairs with them. We keep our house 72-74 degrees. They seem fine most of the night and they sleep in shorts and t-shirt pajamas.

My girls don't tend to have a favorite blankie and will most of the time sleep without anything. Gabe does have a favorite and will use it...when he gets hot he kicks it off. I don't really worry about it, I figure if he gets cold, he'll pull his blanket up or holler for me!

Mine have one thin blanket and one thick blanket that they have with them at all times. They would NEVER sleep if I took them away. So I let them use their blankies and I just go into their rooms when I know they are asleep, and gently ease the blankets to the side of the bed.

I would just check on them and make sure they arent too hot (they usually kick them off anyway...) and cover trhem with a small blanket when I went to bed.

I think she'll throw it off when she's asleep. I would let her have it and do her soothing!

Jessica loves her blankies. They each had one fuzzy one all winter. DH tried to swap out for thinnner blankets in the spring and they wanted both. My in-laws later decided to try to switch out the two blankets they had for the crocheted blankets made by great-grandma that they had slept with until it got cold last fall. Well, my babies now have THREE blankets in bed with them! They kick them off it they get too hot, so I'm not stressing about it.
