He is 14lb 1oz and 26 inches, Dr. said he is perfectly healthy, but he also said his legs are a little tight and he needs more floor time. It makes sense I guess because he didn't spend hardly any time on the floor until around 3 months because of his spitting up, but now I'm all freaked out that there is something wrong. Every since he was born he seemed a little tight to me, it was harder to put get him to bend his arm right to get it through the sleeves and same with his legs. Pretty much since birth he would stiffen up his legs when his feet would touch something and be able to bare weight on them. Other than that and that he seems perfectly normal. He smiles, laughs, makes eye contact, rolled over once so I keep telling myself he's fine, even the Dr. said he's fine but yet I can't stop worrying and I'm driving myself nuts!

Did the doctor give you a list of things to do? Like maybe mini-physical therapy/stretches?

 Sorry you are worried right now. If he's on the floor more often now it will probably help, right?

What about getting an EI evaluation? Maybe there is something they can help with??

I agree with Rachel, it can't hurt to get the evaluation & maybe they can help with some exercises to loosen him up!

I asked the Dr. if there was anything I could do to help and he just said more floor time, I think I'm going to take your advice and get him evaluated by EI. He's probably fine and I'm just a worry wart but I think getting the evaluation will make me feel better about it.

I would get an EI evaluation, too. Sometimes doctors and therapists have different opinions on when therapy is necessary.

    Good luck!

I agree with the EI evaluation. And if he didn't qualify-they will certainly help you with ideas to help loosen him up! Good luck!
