Hey everyone, well this is my first official thread in 1-5. Unfortunaly Im not around much right now since we moved and dont have internet. Anyways, my girls have decided they like to bite, Madison will come up to us and try everything she can to bite us and I have no idea why she is doing this. Does anyone have any ideas how to stop this? Thanks!

All I can suggest is what I had done to stop Eli from biting Peyton. I would put my hand in between before he could bite and say no biting and give him a toy to chomp. He hasn't bit in a week. Eli most likely bit because of teething and now that teeth are exposed I think that is why he's not biting Peyton anymore! I really have no other suggestions, but I hope what I have said helps!

My Chaeli has been doing this off and on since the age of 19 months. I blame it on teething. However, consistency is the key. When it happens I tell "No biting!" and let her know that this is not right - it hurts and its bad. Since now she is older I put her on time out. It is rare that she does this but if it happens it is usually when her sister gets a toy that she is playing with. The worse is when she bit her sister on the back. Yikes! I think her sister learned her lesson not to upset her since then.... :D

The only time that ANY of my children bit someone else was when they were teething (esp. their molars)....our joke was that if you were not moving faster than them, you would get bit!!!!!!!
