Well my twins are now 13 months, and the last few days my DD has become a biter, but only to her twin brother. If Kayden comes near her or trys and takes stuff instead of yelling or fighting back she goes after him with her teeth, i dont know where this came from, or how to stop it..any advice will be great..she bit him today and left a bite mark on his back..poor baby boy just crys and she laughs takes it back and walks off...

I found that when my DS bit, he was either frustrated or teething. However, I would say no bite, give the bitten child extra attention and put the biter in TO for a minute.
Within in a couple of months DS stopped. I found consistency to be the key.

i agree with Nancy. you could also try putting the toy they were fighting over into "time out" as well. that's often worked well in our house.

Toy timeouts work really well in our house; sure that means that *nobody* is happy for a few minutes, but they get over it really quickly. ;) I find that the more I take stuff away, the quicker bad behavior stops.

    Good luck!

thanks everyone..but now she is bitting even without a toy being involved. if she gets mad at all for any reason she attacks him with her teeth..

My guys don't bite, but they do hit, especially me and the dog. When they do this, I take their hands and stroke them gently (on me or the dog) and say "touch nice". Can you turn DDs biting into kissing her brother? 13 months is a tough age for discipline because they really don't understand consequences very well. In fact, redirection *still* works for my guys better than time-outs!
