Birthday cake

    Did anyone ever do this? We celebrated our twins birthday today, and my cousin made us smear their names before we cut the cake.

    No, I have never heard of that. Did she say why? Is there some superstition? :bday: to your twins!

    YIKES! We didn't even have their names on it! OMG! I can't believe I didn't even think of it! haha

    I wonder what's going to happen???!! LOL!

    Looks like they are just a couple of days younger than mine! Mine were born 11/15.

    I googled it and it just said for good luck. I've never heard of this either.

    I had never heard of it until I was watching It's A Big, Big World and there is a birthday song on there that said, "smear your name for good luck sake". I'll remember to do that next year.
