HI! I had posted a message 2 weeks ago regarding c-section vs vaginal delivery. Baby A was head down and Baby B was transverse.

Well, on Wed - June 27 - I was induced at 38 wks pregnant. Baby A was head down and B was breech. Baby A was delivered at 2:22PM vaginally with just 2 pushes. Robert weighed in at 6lb6oz and was 19 inches long. Baby B was attempted to deliver via vaginal delivery. However, she flipped shoulder and hand first. After manipulation from the doctors, they were unable to turn her in either direction and she was delivered C-section at 2:48 PM weighing 6lb3oz. Megan and Robert were healthy and required no NICU time and were with us the entire stay in the hospital.

I had posted the message regarding whether or not to attempt the vaginal delivery or just go C-section. My advice to anyone out there who can attempt a vaginal delivery - DO IT!!! I have now experienced 3 vaginal deliveries and 1 C-section. THe C-section is a much more difficult recovery than a vaginal birth. I would make the same decision again.

THe most important thing is that we have two healthy babies and the entire family is doing great!!!! Thanks for all the previous replies to my post. It did help in the decision making process.

    Thank You - Vicki

Vicki! Congratulations on your babies!! So glad that they are here and healthy! I also had 3 vaginal births and one c-section and agree completely that a vaginal birth is WAY easier to recover from!! But you are right, what is important is that they are here safely! Thanks for sharing your story, I look forward to getting to know you better!
