BIRTH STORY!

Hey everyone,
i just wanted to post my birth story to give you all encouragement. i went to the doctor on March 23, i was 38.2 weeks pregnant, i was 60% effaced and not dilated at all. so he told me that March 25th he would induce me (which was something i didn't want, i wanted my body to start labor atleast by itself). So he then mentioned he could strip my membranes a little to see if maybe the labor would start on it's own. so he did that, and i left the office.
I went home and DH and I took care of some last minute stuff ( like renew my license at the DMV and then some grocery shopping). I felt some contractions but nothing regular and nothing they would call "real labor". So we went home, As soon as i walked into the house Baby A's water broke.. So off to the hospital.
My water broke at 5:30, we got to the hospital at 7:30 (until we got out of the house, picked up some pizza, and drove to manhattan in rush hour traffic). i was admitted at 8:15. Doctor came in and checked me at 9:30 i was 80% effaced and 1 1/2 cm dilated. So he gave me Petocin because we didn't have all day since my water broke and they were worried about infection.
Well to make a long story short at 1:30 i was almost 10 cm dilated. So they wheeled me into the OR at around 2:15 and i started pushing at 2:40. Baby A came out at 2:51 and Baby B came out at 2:58. baby A 5.14lbs and baby B 6 lbs. Baby B had some labored breathing so they monitored her in the NICU for 24 hours and then she joined her sister and i in post part-um. We all left the hospital together 48 hours after delivery.
We had our first Doctor appointment yesterday, they both gained weight from their birth weight.
