Birth Story of My Sweet Boys

I am sorry it took me while to post this, but here we go. On Monday I went for my weekly OB visit (35w4d)and monthly sono. When the tech did the sono she remarked how low Baby A Matthew is, so my OB checked me and it turned out I was 4cm dialated and 80% eff. She sent me to labor and delivery right away. After an hour she checked me again and I was 5 cm dialated but still no serious contraction just back pain. She came in around 7 pm and I was 6cm and 90% eff. she decided to give me epidural. I started to have some contractions but was able to breath through them. Around 8pm the OB broke my water. Now I could feel the contractions on the top of my rib cage and they felt painful. At 10.15pm they wheeled me to OR and the fun begun. I was pushing for good 15 mins and at 10.57pm Mathew Eugene was born weighing 6.9oz and 19inches long and 20 mins later at 11.14pm Brandon John was welcomed to this world weighing 6.1lbs and 20inches long. Both boys came out screaming and go 8/9 on their scores. The ped doc decided to keep them in NICU for the night but they did so well they moved them to ped nursery in the morning. I was released from the hospital on Wednesday and boys were kept in the hospital for 1 more day just to see how they are doing with their feedings. We are all home now and couldn't be happier. The boys are wonderful there is a lot of eating and sleeping going on right now. We are all so happy they are so perfect and Claudia can't get enough of them.

I just wanted to wish everyone best of luck during their pregnancy and labor. Thanks to everyone for their support this forum is the best thing that happened, all of you ladies are wonderful. Even though we have officially moved to First Year (WOW) I will be dropping in and following everyones birth stories.
