while baby a has maintained the proper position, baby b has been transverse the whole time.. how will this affect delivery if they do not go with a c-section?? has anyone else had this problem??

keigin, who was baby B, flipped the whole time i was pregnant. Kaylin, baby A, stayed head down the entire time. My dr said he was willing to try a breech delivery if i felt comfortable with it. i was up for that if it meant no c/s!! so when the time came, after Kaylin was born, the used an U/S machine and found keigins feet, and TMI but he grabbed her by the feet and pulled her right out!! i thought it was going to be so painful but it really wasnt to bad. you have to have an epi for that but i had one anyways. and the girls were only born ten minutes apart, so it didnt take that long either!!

    Good luck !!

Up until 26 week one was head down and one breech then at 26 weeks they were both head down and now at 30 weeks they are both transverse.

One baby has been head down the whole time...the other one has been transverse and now is breech. Hopefully, the one head down will stay that way...that's the only way my doc will try for a vaginal delivery. I am going to keep praying that one stays AND the other one flips. :winking0009:

Baby B for me was transverse through my whole pregnancy until my labor started when she turned breech. I had both of my girls vaginally, one head first, one feet first. They were small so I didn't have to have a c-section.

My baby A was head down all the time. Baby B flipped to breech between 26 and 30 weeks and was born vaginally by breech extraction (feet first) 4 minutes after his sister. Very uneventful, smooth and complication free delivery. They were 7lbs11oz and 7lbs10oz at 38w.

Baby B was breech for me as well. I delivered them both vaginally, baby A head first, baby B breech extraction, with no problems (and my two were huge babies). Depends on your doctor if they will attempt to deliver the second baby breech or will want to do a c-section.

Often if baby b is transverse or breech - they will turn once there is space for them to move around. If not - your Ob may attempt an ECV (external cephalic version) and manually manipulate baby into a head down position. 2nd born twins in breech position are very common.

Baby B was breech or tranverse almost my entire pg. My doc refused to do vaginally if one baby was breech, he said it is safer for the baby to get it out as quickly as possible after the first. Honestly I preferred my c-sec with my twins than my vaginal birth with my oldest child - and that labor was only 8 hrs. I felt like I healed faster with the c-section. My episiotomy burned every time we attempted sex for about 7 months and it took a long time for me to stop leaking urine occasionally.

went for an ultrasound and at least for now baby b turned and they are both head down and in proper birthing position... keeping my fingers crossed that they stay that way

When I went to the hospital in labor Baby B went transverse when the day before he was head down...I delivered vaginally my doctor was not concerned he said he would most likely fall into position after delivering baby A and if not they would guide him. Really the hardest part was getting baby A out because his head was slightly wider and they were waiting on the episotomy until I yelled "just cut me!" You should be fine for a vaginal delivery, it really comes down to what the doctor is comfortable with doing some docs even brush off a breech baby if their are no problems. GL!
