My wife and I are happy to announce that our little girls decided that 36 weeks was enough. We had gone in for our last growth scan yesterday morning. We heard what we were expecting, baby A looked to be 3.5lbs and baby B hadn't grown like we had hoped either, only 4.6lbs. Then my wife was checked and she was already 4cm dialated so off to the hospital we went. Her water was broke around 1 and the petocin was started shortly after. Both were head down so we were hoping for a natural birth but at every contraction baby A's heartrate would completely drop off and stay there for a little bit. So we ended up with a C-section. Courtney (baby A) came first at 5:10pm. Remember she was suppose to be 3.5lbs. Well she suprised everyone at 4lb 6ounces! Caitlyn (baby B) came next at 5:11pm and she weighed the exact same 4lb 6 ounces. They've been in the NICU since birth but both are expected to come over to the regular nursery in an hour or two. They are eating great, both off IV's, holding temperature. They're just PERFECT :D My wife is doing great, she handled everything better than I would have. Actually I balled when they were delivered, so much for my tuff guy attitude  We had been told they were fraternal only to find out that they are probably identical. We're waiting for the official results. The reason for the small size was their chords were attached on the sides of the placenta and not the middle, or something like that. And the C-section was probably the best option as my wife had a large cyst (8cm) on her left ovary so they just took that right out. We're amazed at God's creation and how wonderful everything is turning out. I'll post pictures as soon as I can. Thanks for all the encouragment from my earlier posts, all that worry for nothing!

Sorry no pictures yet. I left my camera cable at home. But both girls are in our room and out of the NICU!!!!! We are so happy about that. They doing pretty good. The only issue is that they're having little trouble holding there temperatures. So we're trying to keep them bundled as much as possible. But it takes so long to wake them up we have to take off there blankets. It's taking us a while to feed them as they just want to go back to sleep. And because we're on a every 3 hour feeding schedule both mom and dad are pooped. If all goes well we'll all be going home tomorrow or monday :D Thanks for welcoming our little girls in the world. 1st year here we come!!!!!
