birds & the bees, according to toddlers

    Ivy and Andrew are getting VERY interested in what's inside their diapers, and the difference between boys and girls. But they're not quite getting it yet, which makes for some big belly laughs for me...

    Andrew was keeping me company in the bathroom (OH, how I miss going to the bathroom alone!!!), took a good look, and said, "Mommy penis!"

    And during a bath the other night, Ivy told me, "Idy gina. Big girl...big girl...big girl...penis!" (=when I'm a big girl, I'll have a penis)

    When I could actually breathe again after laughing so hard, I gently explained to them, um, no, not quite... :lol:
