I'm planning on moving the boys into twin beds come December-ish but I have no idea what kind to get. Anyone have any suggestions? I had wanted captain's beds but I think they will be a little too high for toddlers (or am I wrong?) I just have no idea where to start. Should I just get plain old twin beds?

Also, I'm concerned they will beat the tar out of each other once they are "let loose" from their cribs. As is, they are often at each other and still biting/scratching severely. Anyone deal with such issues? Own rooms are not an option as we don't have any :p .

    Thanks!

We have two twin beds that can be made into bunks. They were DH's as a child, so we'll just use those. They're just plain twin beds with a matress and a box spring. We're going to switch them at 3 I think. I am dreading it!

We just got regular twin beds, but without the boxspring. Never had a real problem with I&I since we switched them at 18 month.

We have inexpensive twin mattresses (no boxsprings) and beds from Ikea (they are the Hemnes beds that are now being discontinued). We love them. They are low to the ground and so they are easy for the kids to get in and out of them.
