Big boys

Hi!
My boys were born at 35.5wks and weighed 5.13 and 4.12.

now at 6mths christopher weighs 20lbs and ryan 16.5lbs.

How much do/did your babies weigh at 6mths

 

My boys were about 22 pounds at 6 months.

 

I have girls and we just had our 6 month appt, you can see their weights in my siggy. Mine were 5.4 and 4.14 at 34w5d and now they are 17.2 and 20.5. Sounds like we are doing something right!!! Way to go, Mamma!

 

Great weights!!!! I don't remember how much our twinkies weighed at 6 months ( I don't have the appointment books handy) but they just crossed the 20 lbs mark at their 15 month appointment, so your twinkies are doing great!

 

we've got "average" ones... Davis was 5' 12 oz at 39 wks birth at 6 mo. he was 16 pounds. (he's got such a small waist now that at 12 mo. I still have a pair of 3-6 mo. Gap shorts that fit perfectly!

Jessa was 6' 1oz at birth and at 6 mo. she was 15 1/2 pounds. She's got a bigger bootie so she is definitely not in those small sizes now.

Enjoy your babies! they all are perfectly sized.

 

20 pounds at 6 m here as well… but I was surprised because older ds weighed that just before he was 1… but when I go look back at pics of him… he looks the same size as they do :unknw: …

K was 16lbs 10oz
J was 17lbs 7oz.

I thought my girls were big for six months. Looking at these other posts though it seems I had some mini-me's.

 

Mine were 19lbs 10oz and 18lbs 2oz.

 

Mine were right around the 19-20lb mark at 6 months so it sounds like your lil ones are going great! :good:

If I remember correctly Eli was slightly below average weight, and Mark was average at that age.

 

my DS is a biggie too, tipping the scale at 21+lbs at 6 months, he makes his sister, who is 18lbs and change seem like a smallfry. DS is actually larger than his 1 year old cousin.. it is truly amazing how fast they grow!

 

I just luv ur boys names as those r my two older boys names! they were both 20lbs at 6 months!

 

My girls just turned 6 months old and Emily weighs 16 pounds and Alana weighs 17 pounds. They were born at 36w 3d and Emily weighed 5 lb 15oz and Alana weighed 6lb 5 oz. I was kind of concerned as far as Emilys length though, she was 27" long at her last check up at 4 months and todays checkup was the same. Is that normal for her to not get any taller in 2 months? Doctor didnt seem concerned. I guess they have another growth spurt at 6 months so I am expecting her to grow like a weed this month!

 

Mine were 13-11 and 17-11 at 6 months. One is tiny and one is very average. Your boys are big IMO but that is great!

 

My boys will be 6 months on the 4th of May and Izak weighs a little over 17lbs. and Aaden is right around 20lbs. I thought my boys were big too but seeing some of the posts here makes me feel better!! :Clap:

 

My boys were born at 37w1d and weighed 7 pounds and 6.12.

They don't have their 6 month appointment until next Friday, but they were a the doctor's 3 or 4 weeks ago and they weighed 19 and 20 pounds..so I'm guessing close to 22 pounds. They wer 12 month clothes most of the time!

 

Thanks everyone for your responses! I feel so much better. Everyone is telling me how "HUGE" Christopher is...but I think he just looks big next to Ryan, and Ryan looks small next to Christopher. We were with a friend who has an 8mth old and Ryan is the same size as her!

It's funny because Christopher isn't really chubby...what can i say they are just perfect! ahhaah

Dallasm...it's funny our new nurse at work her older sons are Christopher and Ryan...and one of our new Dr's his name is Ryan Christopher...I told my husband..."See I was right, those names do sound good together!" I wanted Ryan's name to be Ryan Christopher and Christopher to be Jack...something...
