What kind of bibs do you use for meals? We have the bumkins and I love how easy they are to clean, but they keep pulling them off now... so it's useless.

We use Bumpkins and I love them. My girls went through a bib pulling phase, but it only lasted a couple of weeks. I also tuck the bibs between them and their tray and that seems to help.

Ummm...we had to give up bibs around 12 months old because they pulled them all off. I even tried the ones that you pull over their head (without velcro or snaps), and they would stretch them to the point of no return. At that point we just started getting them down to diapers in the high chairs and then to baths.

We have used generric bibs. As long as they looked absorbant and we could see it was tough velcro (by pulling on them in the store), we go ahead and purchase them. Tough velcro is good for us, otherwise the bibs are pulled off pretty quickly!

We use the pocket bibsters although the pockets, at least in my kids case, are fairly useless. The good perk to it is that when they get dirty, all you have to do is wipe them clean, so it saves some laundry for you to do!

We finally just did away with the bibs because they were pulling them off at every meal. Now I just put them on when we eat something really messy and hope that they leave them alone. But we used the Bumkins Junior Bib with sleeves for the longest time. I think the velcro might hold better than the smaller Bumkins if that is what you are using now.

I just use the cheap wal mart ones. They pull them off sometimes but I have so many of them that it doesn't matter I just put another one on.

I too tuck their bib between them and their tray. It doesnt always work but I do my best.
I save the messiest more experimental foods (spagetti, etc) for dinner because we go to the bath immediately after.

We use Bibsters. Mine have days where it seems fun to pull the Bibs off and others where they could care less.

We just use cotton bibs from BJ's. One of the boys was a spitter so we have a ton of them. I do tuck them between the tray and their belly, but they still go through bib removing phases. I just keep putting it back on or if they are wearing a dark color go without. For messy meals we do diapers only then baths too.

When they started going through the big pulling off phase we moved from Walmart brand bibs to these - http://www.mum2mum.us/wonderbibs_plain.htm. They have snaps which the boys haven't figured out how to get off and are super absorbetent. Kinda pricey, but cheaper than replacing all their carrot, beet, or pomegranate stained clothes. And our house is just too cool for them to eat in just a diaper.

We use leather bibs called Mally bibs, they are so easy to clean and stick right to the fridge.

Loved bibsters, and if you want you can try using clothes pins or some other clip on the back, that's how I keep them on my dd when she wants to pull them off! ;)

Love Bumpkins - love the pockets! We don't have near the mess because of the pockets.

LOVE the Bumkins. I love that you can rinse them OR put in the washing machine. However, Maya likes to take them off so I also bought the kind that slip over her neck. Don't like those though since you have to wash them each time.
