okay, for those of you brave enough to venture in. I think I have hemrroids (sp). [IMG] I never had them when I was preg, but now, it feels awful and I am way too emabarrased to ask the dr. about it. So that is why I have turned to my trusty side kicks! [IMG]
[IMG] Anyone have problems w/ this after your twins were born and how did you know that is what it was. What did you do?

    TIA!

Hemorrhoid creams and HOT baths work wonders! Try not to lift heavy objects and eat plenty of fiber.

Oh yes I had problems with hemorrhoids before and definately after (especially the first few weeks, because of c-sec and stool softeners not helping and constipation). It was itchy and painful. I used the medicated Tucks pads (or generic form) and it helps some of the irritableness and itchiness. I believe the directions say to wipe the affected area and discard pad, but I would leave it in place for maximum benefit. Also (TMI and kinds gross) pushing the hemi-roid back in helps relieve some of the pain and discomfort. HTH [IMG]

I had one and it was not fun! The hospital gave me witch hazel pads and hydrocortisone cream. You wipe with the pad, then use another pad to put on the cream. It worked! Prep H did nothing for me.

I got one after Emma was born, I used hemmaroid cream (generic) and witch hazel pads. It went away after 3 miserable weeks.
