best twins nursing pillow

Hi -- Maybe this was already discussed somewhere on here, but can I get some thoughts on twins nursing pillows? So far it seems like the Brest Friends Twins pillow and the EZ 2 Nurse Twins pillow are the front-runners. Any thoughts on which one I should get?

I had a EZ2Nurse (the Brest Friend wasn't out yet) & adored it. I actually bought a 2nd for the car b/c I was so dependent on it. I found mine at a twins sale for $5 and couldn't have tandem nursed without it. Pillows made me feel like I couldn't move without someone slipping. I did have to prop it up with pillows underneath it at first as they were so tiny they needed to be closer to me. I used mine from birth to 15 months and it worked the whole time really well.

 

I really liked my brest friend pillow. I used it until they were 4 months old then just switched to feeding on demand one at a time. It definitely was a necessity for us in the first few months.

 

I have the EZ2Nurse pillow and swear by it! I too would not have tandem nursed without it. My guys are 12months this week and we use it for every feeding. I also bought it used, but for $25.

 

I can't compare the two but I loved the EZ 2 Nurse. I am a bit larger and it fit around me with no problem and supported my twins until they were toddlers. I may just use it for my singleton even though I don't need something that big just because it is so functional!

 

I loved my EZ 2 Nurse pillow. I definitely wouldn't have tandem fed without it. I used it for 18 months or longer.

 

I love the EZ pillow. Never tried the other.

 

never tried the other, but LOVED the EZ2Nurse one!! we used it daily for every feed up until 2yo, then I sold it. Ours was a shower gift, but well worth the $60 new... if you can get one used that is in great shape go for it... though I got wigged out with the inside foam on mine when my dd kept spitting up and the foam got wet... I actually made an interior waterproof cover for mine... so in the end mine remained clean... but for used, I would just smell the inside foam to make sure it was clean.

good luck!! you can bottle feed with the babies laying on their backs on the EZ2Nurse pillow too if you need to or if your dh does when you're not there etc.

 

I agree - love the EZ2! Although, as others, never tried the other one. I borrowed ours from our local twins club, so didn't pay a dime. Used it for the whole 2 years we nursed. :good: I also had to do some propping with pillows under the ends & a rolled towel on my knees to get the girls in the right spot initially, but as they got bigger it wasn't a problem.
