Yet another pack N play question!

We are looking to get one for sure but we are trying to figure out what the best option is for twins and which one will last the longest with the highest weight limit. A lot of them seem to have pretty low weight limits so we don't want them to grow out of it so fast. The Original Co-slepper seems like a good option but anyone else have any recommendations?

We are looking at the Origional Co-Sleeper as well as the Graco Twin Pack & Play... I have heard the the Graco Pack & Play is pretty big though in comparison to the regular pack & play...

If you're trying to decide between a co-sleeper and a PNP, you should think about what your primary goal is. A co-sleeper is better for, well, co-sleeping (or for general use as a bassinet), but it isn't going to be much good once the babies are mobile. A PNP may have a bassinet, but like you said, the weight limit will be lower. Its primary use will be when the babies are older and you want somewhere for one of them to nap, or a place to put them once they're mobile and you have to leave the room for a minute. HTH! :)

(FWIW, we got a PNP with the changing table attachment -- we use it as our primary changing table, and one of my DDs also naps in it, which allows them to nap in separate rooms. We did use it as a bassinet a few times when they were newborns, but they slept much better in bouncy seats and swings, so we wound up not using it nearly as much as we expected.)

Ditto that advice. We have two pack n plays that we use for travel and napping at the grandparents' houses. We use them quite a bit and so they have been a great investment. We just bought the cheapest Graco ones. I never used mine as a playpen, although I suppose I could have.

When they were newborns, we borrowed two bassinets (one for each side of the bed). I did not want to purchase an Arm's Reach Co-Sleeper because they are not portable like the PNPs. If I was not able to borrow the bassinets, I would have just set up the bassinet portion of the PNP and used that for the first month or so.

I'm sure there are people who will disagree but I have both the co-sleeper and a pack-n-play. I barely used my co-sleeper just because I could never get the babies to fall asleep in there and then be able to go to sleep myself. The first 6-8 weeks the only place I could get them to sleep was in thier swings or papisan chairs and one would sometimes sleep in the basinett of the PNP. I ended up setting a bunch of stuff up in the living room and I would sleep on the couch between feedings at night and just move them from one contraption to the next until they fell alseep. Good Luck I would go with the PNP I think you will get more use out of it. We use the changing table on ours all the time too!

We have two Graco P&P's. At first they slept in it together in our room and on the main floor of the house, until moving to their cribs at 3 months. Now we use them for travel, I'd say around 7 months they had to have their own to sleep in (when we were traveling).

Loved my twin PNP! It is bigger so it latest us longer when we used the bottom for travel and naps at Nana's. We still use it and another older PNP that I had from 2001.

Same here. Mine ended up sleeping in their swings/car seats

Here is an option to consider - we just bought the Suite Solutions P&P. It has a built-in organizer for underneath the basinett that you unzip to get to. I figured with twins we would need more wipes and more diapers (more whatever!), so the extra storage might be nice.

We left the "umbrella" off for now. We figured we wouldn't be going outside for a while with a 1 year old and newborn twins. (plus, all the rain here in Texas!).

I had never seen the Twin P&P! That is very cute!
