They're maternal -- they like to take care of each other very much... You know they were laughing at themselves 10 mintues later when they realized what they'd said.

That is a riot!
i saw a woman today with twins who looked at mine and said she thought they were twins until she saw "the other one". Now my girls are 1.5 lb different not 10 pounds or something! You would think she would have been smarter. Not all twins are maternal, I mean identical!

 

My favorite weird twin comment was "Are they separate or conjoined?". I got that one while I was pregnant with the boys. I won't even go into why that was such a silly question.

 

I have gotten "are they identical or paternal?" yep they look alot like DH side of the family...

You just have to laugh because people are so dumb.
