Summerize my last year... haha, prepare for a novel!

HORRIBLE morning sickness! Then my back back hurt, then I got huge, then I swelled up like you wouldn't beleive, HEARTBURN from ****, thought I was going to roast like a turkey (twin pregnancy during summer, arg!), modified bedrest, Frodo feet, water broke, went into labor, had the "full birth experience", James was fine but Sean was in the NICU for 6 days, somehow survived the first few months of twins AND the terrible two's, 8th wedding anniversary , became a FY Mod , celebrated my 1 yr TS anniversary and now I'm 29 years old today, lol!

Today I went out with my Grandma Nell, Grandma Barb, Grandpa Lou, and a friend of Grandma Barb's named Betty (lovely woman!). We ate at the Restaurant that my dad co-manages, Kannah Creek Brewery. I had the Roast Beast Panini (no really, that's the name of the sandwich!) and a brownie with ice cream for desert. Mmmmm..... So that was really nice, I was able to eat with 2 hands because my Grandma's commandeered my kids. Tonight I'm going to see my Mom after Mike gets home from work. All in all it's been a nice day, I got some nice presents and got to see my family. I think Mike will take me out on a date this Friday and I got lucky last night. Whoo hoo!

Glad you had a wonderful day! I loved your summary of the past year! I so know what you mean about surviving the first few months of twins AND the terrible 2s .

This was my 30th and my husband took me out for a quick dinner tonight, but will be taking me out for a "nice" steak dinner this Saturday. Friends watched the kiddos tonight and we will be getting a babysitter for Saturday. To celebrate tonight I got a great big piece of bourbon pecan pie (mardis gras special ).
